BREDON, GLOUCESTERSHIRE
The cottages are about ¾ mile level walk from the village of Bredon (shops, pubs and restaurant in walking distance) which lies high above a curve of the River Avon below Bredon Hill, an outlier of the Cotswolds. The village street is an attractive mixture of black and white timber and Cotswold stone buildings. It is 4 miles from Tewkesbury (Abbey, picturesque streets, shops, supermarkets) and 10 miles from Cheltenham (elegant Regency town renowned for its shopping). An ideal location for touring both the Welsh borders and the Cotswolds. Boating, fishing, golf, tennis and riding nearby; a peaceful and secluded site without isolation.
All the cottages have been converted from farm buildings built in the early 1800s, apart from the original farmhouse, and are surrounded by 35 acres of open farmland. The gardens and orchard are extensive and away from the road. We have nine cottages here, four of them sleeping 2 persons, two sleeping 4, one sleeping 6 and the Farmhouse sleeps 10, excellent for two families.
There is a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi in the grounds. All properties are non smoking and no pets, and all have metered phones, CD players, books. Any changeover day
Gas and electricty are extra by meter, linen and towels included, use of pool and jacuzzi at small charge.
