Elegant Edwardian former embassy with pillared entrance situated only 100 yards from Hyde Park, on the quieter western end of Lancaster Gate.  Tube station 5 minutes walk while buses are 1 minute walk away.  Local shops and restauarants, with the larger Whiteleys Shopping Centre with supermarkets, shops, cinemas and restaurants only a 10 minute walk away.  Oxford Street is one tube stop or a 5 minute bus ride. The building has an elegant entrance and imposing staircase and many period architectural features such as crenellated ceilings and large windows.  The furnishing style however is modern. The 2 bedroom apartments have a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, while the 3 bedroom apartments have 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. Both have 2 bathrooms (bath + shower) and kitchens with all machines.  An extra single bed is available in all flats for one extra person.  Large rooms (by London standards) with good views.
