LONDON COMMUTER BELT
Still under an hour's train travel to central London.  Many properties here will need a car.  You can leave your car at the local station and take the train into London; train travel is much faster than tube travel.  If you want to explore areas outside London as well as the city and will have a car then one of these properties would suit you.  Or you may be visiting for several weeks, perhaps to see family, and need something in a specific area.  Many properties are in the countryside or in villages with a local pub nearby!

To the west and north west are Berkshire and Buckinghamshire - Windsor, Reading and Henley on Thames, attractive market towns such as Amersham, Aylesbury and Berkhamsted.  To the north are the Herfordshire towns of Tring, Welwyn, St Albans and Hertford.  To the south and south west are Guildford, Leatherhead, Farnham and Dorking, nestling amongst the North Downs.  South east into Kent are Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and the Medway towns.

These areas are beyond the London Transport Zones but have special deals for weekly, monthly and longer travel.
