For those who really want to get away from it all, but in some luxury, this is a beautifully restored croft cottage in spectacular surroundings. The cottage is situated on a croft that is being revitalized with a wild flower nursery and a herd of Highland cows on the shores of Little Loch Broom. Combining the best of traditional values with modern conveniences, there is gas lighting, peat stove, gas cooker, heat and hot water, bath with shower, attractive good quality furnishings. Sleeping on open gallery with partitions. No mains electricity and the mountains preclude TV reception anyway, but a generator available at cost. Sea fishing (free), river/loch fishing available, boat for hire, pets welcome. There is also a Bothy with very basic accommodation, 'a stone tent' and a campsite.
